MEMBERSHIP TYPES
The Direct Selling Association is a corporate membership organization. There are four categories of membership in DSA: Senior membership, Active membership, Probationary membership and Associate membership.
SENIOR MEMBERSHIP
Senior Members are companies that have engaged in direct selling for at least three years.
Senior Members of the Association have pledged to abide by and uphold the provisions of DSA's Code of Ethics which is designed to protect both members of the direct selling field salesforce and the ultimate consumer.
Senior Member shall have the right to appoint a natural person to be a Director of the Board of Representatives, and that person shall have two votes.
Senior Members shall have the right to use the Association logo on their letters, promotional and correspondence materials and documents.
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Active Members are companies that have engaged in direct selling for at least two years.
Active Members of the Association have pledged to abide by and uphold the provisions of DSA's Code of Ethics which is designed to protect both members of the direct selling field salesforce and the ultimate consumer.
Active Member shall have the right to appoint a natural person to be a Director of the Board of Representatives, and that person shall have one votes.
PROBATIONARY MEMBERSHIP
Each applicant-company should pass through probation period.
Duration of probation period is one year.
After the probation period expiration and if no complaints or claims from distributors or from consumers or consumer rights protection societies or state bodies against the Company will be submitted to the RDSA Company can apply for joining the RDSA as an Active or Senior member.
Probationary members can not delegate their representatives to DSA’s Board of Representatives.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate members are companies that provide goods and/or services to support direct selling companies.
DSA gives you unequalled access to the direct selling industry, along with numerous opportunities to network one-on-one with industry executives, establish contacts and learn the cultures, management principles and support service needs of the industry.
